This page describes key risks you should understand before using JabalPay (the “Services”). By using the Services, you acknowledge these risks.

1) Payments are final (no refunds, no cancellations)
All payments sent through JabalPay are final. Once you confirm a transaction, it cannot be cancelled, stopped, reversed, or refunded.
This is because once funds are received for processing, they are sent, converted to stablecoin, and delivered to the destination wallet. After delivery, transactions are generally irreversible.
2) Wallet address and network risk (your responsibility)
You are solely responsible for entering correct transaction details, including:
-
the destination wallet address
-
the correct network/chain (if applicable)
-
the correct asset and amount
If you send to the wrong address, wrong network, or incompatible wallet, funds may be permanently lost. JabalPay is not responsible for losses caused by sender error or incorrect instructions.
3) Stablecoin risks
Stablecoins carry risks, including:
-
Depegging: a stablecoin may trade below (or above) its intended value.
-
Issuer / reserve risk: stability may depend on the issuer’s reserves, operations, and legal/regulatory status.
-
Redemption and liquidity risk: redemption or conversion may be delayed or limited during stress events.
-
Regulatory risk: rules may change and affect availability, redemption, or usage.
You should understand the stablecoin used in your transaction before sending funds.
4) FX and pricing risks
If your transaction involves currency conversion (including FX or conversion into/out of stablecoins):
-
rates can change quickly due to market conditions,
-
the rate you receive may include a spread, and
-
your final outcome depends on the rate shown at the time you confirm.
You are responsible for reviewing the amounts, fees, and rates before confirming.
5) Settlement timing and processing delays
Transaction timing can vary due to factors such as:
-
partner processing windows and cutoffs,
-
weekends/holidays,
-
compliance checks (KYC/AML/sanctions),
-
banking/payment rail delays,
-
blockchain network congestion (if applicable), and
-
outages or downtime affecting third parties.
Estimated times are not guarantees.
6) Blockchain/network risks (if applicable)
If a transaction involves blockchain transfer, risks may include:
-
network congestion and delayed confirmations,
-
network fees that vary over time,
-
chain reorgs or temporary inconsistencies,
-
protocol or infrastructure failures,
-
wallet provider outages or errors, and
-
irreversible delivery once confirmed on-chain.
JabalPay does not control public blockchains or third-party wallet providers.
7) Third-party and counterparty risks
JabalPay may rely on third-party providers (payments, banking rails, compliance tools, infrastructure providers). Risks include:
-
third-party outages, errors, or processing failures,
-
delays due to partner reviews or operational constraints,
-
changes to partner policies that affect supported corridors, limits, or availability.
To the extent permitted by law, JabalPay is not responsible for failures or interruptions caused by third parties outside our control.
8) Fraud and social engineering risks
Common fraud risks include impersonation, phishing, and scams that pressure you to send funds. Because transactions are final, you may not be able to recover funds if you send to a scammer.
Protect yourself by:
-
verifying the recipient independently,
-
double-checking wallet addresses,
-
never sharing your login credentials, and
-
treating urgent payment requests with skepticism.
9) No financial, legal, or tax advice
JabalPay does not provide investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice. You are responsible for determining whether the Services are appropriate for your situation and for obtaining professional advice where needed.
10) Updates
We may update these disclosures from time to time. If we do, we will update the “Last updated” date and publish the revised version on our website.
